Using Ken Oliver Crafts Color Burst

Hello Crafters,

I know its been long since I wrote a blog post. Actually I made these cards a month back, but did not have the time to write a post. So here I am now. I have made background of these cards using Ken Oliver Crafts Color Burst Pigment Powders. Believe me this product is amazing… no two backgrounds can be identical.

Here is the video I referred to for learning how to use Color Burst and it was a cake walk. I loved the way the pigments moved and merged. I used Color Burst Brights set and Canson XL Watercolor Paper for preparing the background of my cards.

I have used MFT Dienamics Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots die to cut the prepared backgrounds.

After preparing the background, I used MFT Dienamics Stitched Rectangle Frames for cutting the two frames from two different shades of pink card stocks.

I then took my plain white card base, measured it (leaving the width of the pink frame) and covered it fully with Stick it adhesive sheet and stuck the Polka dotted die-cut on it. I used the following video by Jennifer McGuire as an inspiration. I also used Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter Diamond to finish the base of my card.

Once the base was completed, I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum. For this I used Ranger Superfine White Embossing powder and MFT Becuase You stamp.

Hope you all like my cards and please do leave your valuable comments.

Happy Crafting..
