I wanted this originally to cover pages in a small printed book so I could journal over the top. It took three layers on a single page as it had poor opaque coverage so I stopped and used a different gesso that I bought elsewhere. I use this gesso now for under rice paper and it works very well for that. Very smooth and easy to apply. Very good in terms of the store and received in excellent condition. My item was delayed with clear communication of why and I had no problems with waiting.
