Heartfelt Creations - Classic Rose Collection

Hello Friends,

I am here with my latest cards which I made using September release of Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Collection, and I must say this collection is really a beautiful. I loved creating roses with them.

This time I have tried to click pictures step wise. Hope I am able to explain the process…

  1. First I cut the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Collection pattern paper for matting the card base and distressed the edges using Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink.

2. After creating the base, used Heartfelt Creations Fleur Borders and Pockets to cut a die-cut from a white card-stock.

3. I stamped the leaves using the Archival Coffee Ink on some green card stock. Here I used the Classic Rose Vines Stamp and then cut the same with the Classic Rose Vines dies. I also embossed the die-cuts with the help of Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Kit.

4. After finishing off the leaves and vines, I stamped the roses on white card stock using Classic Rose Stamp set and Archival Ink Tea Rose (I just love this color). After stamping I ran the images through my Big shot and used the Classic Rose coordinating dies for cutting the petals. Once the petals were cut I used Archival Tea Rose ink and sponge daubers to color them on both the sides. I also used Archival Vermillion Ink to give a little shading on the edges.

5. After coloring the petals, I made roses. In the picture I have shown the assembled roses. For the left one I have used petals in three sizes, two of small, one of medium and two large petals. For the right rose I have used all five petals in same size. Hope, I have been able to show the difference. May be someday I will make a video showing the process I used for assembling these. I duly apologise for not putting step by step this time.

6. I also used some Diamond Dust to add sparkle to my roses and to finish them off.

This is the final card after putting all the elements together. I made another card, just changed the colors and added an additional layer of maroon card-stock. In this one I also used Nuvo drops on the die-cut and added half cut pearls to finish off the card.
